Obviously I can't list the private events, and rarely do I bother with the restaurant shows either. September 7, 2007     Fantasy Bellydance Concert!

Experience the inaugural event of Venus Uprising, a coalition of NYC bellydance artists, as we explore the new horizons of an ancient dance form. February 4, 2007     Super Bowl Celebration at Kevin St. James!!

It's official - the halftime show will once again feature a bellydance performance by Tanna! Kevin St. James is located at 741 8th Avenue, between 46th and 47th Streets. The show will take place in the upstairs lounge. No cover, no minimum.

March 16, 2007     Alternative Bellydance Show IV

The 4th Alternative Bellydance Show will take place at Taj, 48 West 21st St., between 5th and 6th Avenues. As always each dancer will perform a short number to alternative music. This very special show will feature bellydance legend Jehan Kamel who will be both peforming AND debuting her latest music. The show will be the highlight of Andy Troy's monthly networking party. The party starts at 6:00 p.m., and the show will begin @ 8:30 p.m. There is no cover and no minimum, but please bring valid ID. The rich and exotic atmosphere of Taj is the perfect backdrop for this creative event!

November 17, 2007     Veil Workshop with Tanna and Sarah Skinner

Tanna will perform one of her signature pieces - Godsmack's hypnotic song "Voodoo" on the main stage at 9:24 p.m. She will also be on the premises for the entire weekend, working at Lina Jang's photography booth. June 29, 2007     Cafe Bellydance!

Cafe Bellydance is back, this time at Taj Lounge (48 West 21st St., NYC, between 5th and 6th Avenues). Join Tanna as she welcomes special guest Azza Amon and her troupe for an evening of sophisticated bellydance entertainment. No Cover, No Minimum, Showtimes: 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.
